Thanks for trying to help, but I'd been using the reset button for a good few seconds every time I changed the SD card in the sat-nav. I add this since it has not been mentioned and may be relevant. What I noticed in the threads was that if you alter addons.txt or igopath.txt then you need to hold the reset button for two seconds then when you switch back on the changes take effect - a bit like deleting the save file on other units. There is a very useful forum on Ebuyer debating the issue.
